PBF (Precise Business Forecasting).

An authorial PBF (Precise Business Forecasting) system supports managers in making decisions about future events. No manager can escape such a situation. Forecasting, estimating what might happen with what probability can be supported by data and
calculation methods. As a result, the manager making the decision is not doomed to the proverbial “ifs”, but can rely on professional calculation tools.

Several years ago, I created a proprietary tool for forecasting trends and for estimating how far we can influence a trend change. The tool is universal, generic. It does not depend on any systems or applications used in the organization, but can also be attached to these systems.

The tool supports forecasting of all types of business trends:

  • How many incoming calls can we expect at the call center?
  • How many orders can be received by Customer Service?
  • How many complaints can we expect?
  • What might sales be in the next week, month, quarter?
  • What delays in deliveries can there be?

We offer organizations full implementation, which consists of:

– one day of introduction to forecasting issues and training in the use of the tool on 15 different examples
– tool installation
– one day of coaching after one month of using the tool on predictive cases of the client organization

We have implemented our business forecasting system, PBF, in two banks, a global SSC organization, a steelmakers’ association, a large listed manufacturing company, and a number of medium-sized enterprises.
